You may have never thought a 15 minute chili recipe could never be made in 15 minutes. Or, at least, a chili recipe that was actually pretty good anyhow. Well, think again! It is possible and we show you how here!
Prep time: 30 minutes… just kidding! About 15-20 minutes
Serves: 4
Ingredients:
- One pound of ground turkey
- One, 15 ounce can of kidney beans, drained and rinsed (or pinto beans if you’d prefer)
- One can of low-fat and low-sodium chicken broth
- One can of diced tomatoes, UNDRAINED
- One, six ounce can of tomato paste
- One tablespoon of chili powder
- 1/8 of a teaspoon of cinnamon
- ¼ of a teaspoon of cumin
- ½ a teaspoon of fresh black pepper (ground)
Directions:
- In a large, non-stick pan, brown the ground turkey until it is no longer pink.
- Drain any excess fat.
- Add the remaining ingredients and bring to a boil.
- Lower heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Sit back, relax and enjoy!
